Real Intense - Manzella

Manzella's Real Intense GlovesThis glove is warm.  It's not the warmest thermo-glove I have owned and definitely not the best looking but what makes it my favorite is the material.  Gore-tex is great.  I'd sleep on gore-tex sheets if I could buy them, but advantages of the membrane are especially evident in gloves.  No matter how waterproof gloves are sometimes you need to pull your hands out to operate gadgets and snow inevitably gets inside, then there's sweat.  Anyway it becomes soggy pretty soon. Not so with Manzella’s Real Intense gloves.  You can put these gloves on with wet hands and in minutes they'll be completely dry and toasty. This never gets old for me.

Pros and Cons:
+ warm
+ not too bulky
+ windproof
+ water resistant
+ breathable
+ extended top and bottom flaps make it easy to pull the gloves on
- plain appearance
- too slippery for rope handling and on hard surfaces
- unimpressive stitching - this could be a problem down the road... or maybe not.
