Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and located in the heart of Breckenridge's historic district, the Abbett Placer Inn is a fully restored and recently renovated charming Victorian home. 

Ideally situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, yet just steps from all of Breckenridge's attractions including fine restaurants and shopping as well as the Welcome Center and Riverwalk Music Tent the Abbett Placer is the perfect location for your vacation, whether in summer or in winter with the ski area shuttle stopping directly across the street and taking just a few minutes to reach both the Peaks 8 & 9 bases.

The living room and common areas are designed for comfort with all the modern amenities you desire, including flat screen TV, guest computer with free internet access and Wifi as well as a selection of books and board games for evenings spent relaxing in our oversized sofas.

Your day begins with a delicious and plentiful homemade breakfast starting with fresh fruit and homemade muffins followed by your choice of sweet or savory hot breakfast, including such favorites as banana pancakes with caramelized banana syrup, cornflake crusted Grand Marnier French toast, crunchy cornmeal waffles or coconut banana bread French toast, omelets or Eggs Benedict.

After a strenuous day of skiing (or shopping!) you will return home to afternoon teas featuring a selection of teas and coffee and perennial favorites such as pineapple upside-down cake, hummingbird cake, gingerbread served with molasses whipped cream or English cream teas (scones with jam and cream).

Numerous outdoor sitting areas capture the morning, afternoon and evening sun with spectacular sunrises and sunsets over the peaks. Our new deck now boasts a Prodigy hot tub with hydromassage jets etc as well as a lounging area to enjoy the incredible mountain views.
