Camp TimberlineThere is nothing quite as breathtaking as stepping out of your cabin and seeing the majesty of Twin Sisters Peaks and the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Throw a football or kick a soccer ball and take a glance at Longs Peak, a world famous 14,000 foot mountain that looms grandly behind Camp Timberline’s Lone Elk Lodge. Shoot hoops in the Rocky Dome with Mount Meeker Peak in the backdrop, feeling so close you could touch it. Wake up to a herd of elk grazing on the playing fields. Be thrilled on a top-notch ropes course in a private, cozy forest setting with huge pines and aspens quaking nearby. Play tennis on our high quality courts under Colorado’s famous crisp blue skies. Sit on the magnificent logged lodge deck and visit with old friends and new. Jump into a mountain lake or run down a snow-covered slope in the midst of summer. Enjoy the magic of a crackling campfire with your special camp friends on a star-studded night. Camp Timberline is surrounded by Rocky Mountain National Park, tucked in the Tahosa Valley at an altitude of 9400 ft., nine miles south of one of Colorado's most popular tourist destinations, Estes Park, CO.

Our goal is to send your camper home feeling good about who they are. One way Camp Timberlinewe achieve this is by focusing on age appropriate challenges and outdoor adventures. Surrounded by in the beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park, secluded on our private piece of Heaven on earth, we promote teamwork, build self-confidence, trust and communication through our mountain adventure programs. Camp Timberline allows the opportunity for individuals to encounter a uniquely different series of mental and physical challenges. Some of these challenges include camping out or hiking all day in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Also experience the rush of racing down our 450' dual ziplines or flying through the air on our 55' giant swing, "The Silencer". One of our mottos at camp is, “You don’t have to do it... you get to do it”. All high element events are optional. With lots of encouragement from our highly trained staff, we know how to help without pushing. Every day something happens that amazes you! Participation in the high ropes course is restricted to kids ages 11 and up.
