If you live in Colorado or are planning to visit Colorado during the summer this article is perfect for you. Colorado gets hot during the summer and there is nothing better than a water park when it gets hot. Come to Water World, 10 miles north of downtown Denver, for all your water fun.
Water World was first opened in 1979 and has risen to the top of the water park industry. It is the number one family water park in the nation and was listed as the number 7 water park in the nation by the Travel Channel in 2007. If you are visiting Colorado between late May and early September Water World is a must visit attraction.
The park covers 64 acres of land and the park currently has 42 attractions. It has the biggest variety of attractions in America, ranging all the way from kids to teens and all the way to adults.
If you are planning on visiting the park as a family do not worry, the park is the number one family water park in the nation. Once inside the park you can go straight to Wally World and your kids will have a blast, or go to Voyage to the Center of the Earth and have fun as an entire family. Water World also has more family tube rides than any other water park in the nation. 
If you are a teenager and you want to have fun there is no short abundance of attractions for you to. From the thrilling Red Line speed slide, with nearly vertical drops, to the Thunder Bay wave pool, which launches a giant wave every ten minutes, teenagers will always have fun at this park.
Are you a parent who wants to bring the family but does not want to go on the rides? You can go to Captain Jack's Wave Pool which sends small waves for roughly five minutes at a time, or you can go to the lazy river and just relax while floating steadily along.
Although adults usually do not enjoy this next attraction kids of all ages do, it is a water-themed fun house. The fun house features water guns and buckets of water that you can dump on other people. It is a fun place that all of you should have fun in. Beware though, you will be drenched in water from the second you enter to the second you leave.
