Sunkosi 2 - Teva
The Sunkosi 2 lets you stay active in and out of the water. These shoes performed well in wet and dry rocky areas. I’m always weary of stepping on wet slippery rocks, but these shoes provide pretty awesome traction and gave me the security that I wasn't going to slip and fall.
The outer sole rubber material surrounds the shoe in areas most needed which is the toes and the heel. There’s actually extra material surrounding the toe area which is wise – prevents you from stub your toes on rocks or hard shell watercrafts.
They really paid attention to detail with this shoe, the mesh material allows the 
water to flow through the shoe fast and that only means that the shoe dries out quicker than most. Because of this material, the shoe performed really well in muddy areas like the one I experienced. The water levels were a bit low where we launched the kayak and my feet sank deep in the mud. I was really happy that a quick swish of clear lake water was all it took and all the mud quickly flowed right through the shoe, not leaving any residues between my toes and who doesn’t appreciate that!

The shoe is very stylish, cute as a button actually. The colors are coordinated well. The shoe ships-on, which is a “no fuss” shoe and fits comfortable with plenty of room to wiggle my toes. I didn’t experience any blisters on the heels or toes. The insole comes out easily, which is good, because at the end of the day I like to hose down all our wet gear. To my surprise and after all that muddy water, there was hardly any mud inside the shoe and no mud left on my feet !
The Sunkosi 2 is part of the tevapro collection and although I sampled them in a more recreational setting, this shoe was designed for the elite outdoor and whitewater athletes, so you know they were built to endure the most of rigorous activities! This shoe is available for women and men.
