Soft Touch Swiss Clipper from Wenger
Wenger makes excellent innovative products and there’s no doubt with even their smallest tools. The Swiss Clippers come in a smooth neoprene coating “The Soft Touch Swiss Clipper” and for an even better feel and control, comes with a texturized black rubber inset “The EvoGrip Swiss Clipper”.
This tool is not only for men. Ladies, have you ever had to open a box, cut a string, clip that annoying thread that is unraveling from a button, or got your fingernail caught on something and you need to take care of it immediately? This tool comes equipped with a knife, scissors, nail file, and nail clippers. It also comes with a set of tweezers and plastic toothpick. This tool is a stylish go anywhere device and is available in a variety of colors. Some can be purchased without the pen blade for air travel safety. It is compact enough (about the size of a lipstick) to fit any where inside any bag or comes with a key ring for easy attachment.
I realize that this tool is mainly for personal grooming needs, but I get a lot of use
out of it when I’m out doing some light fishing too (always fishing on the brain). The clippers, because they don’t weigh hardly anything and fit in any pocket, is handy for trimming fishing lines after tying knots and when the clippers are stored inside the knife, I don’t have to worry about a line accidentally getting cut. The eject lever makes using the clippers a one hand operation. The toothpick can be used to tie a nail knot and the tweezers can be used to help untangle over-runs on the reel. Everything we buy these days is packaged in some sort of sealed plastic. The pen blade is useful for cutting open these small packages of hooks, lures and baits.

The tool I sampled was the Soft Touch Clipper which features a high-quality nail clipper that folds into the body of the knife. To use the clippers simply push the lever at the end of the device and the nail clippers ejects. Flip the handle around to the opposite side of the clipper and it is ready to use. As with the other implements, the scissors is another tool that you will be grateful for when the need arises.
