Signature EV Ultra Footbed
SOLE has designed these impressive insoles for the active consumer regardless of activity. Choose your sport, and SOLE will find the perfect insole to match its need. As for my test review of the Signature EV Ultra insoles, I was pleased from the first step forward. The quick steps for customizing your footbed was as easy as turning on the oven, waiting till the indicator symbol on the insole to turn black, standing on them inside your preference of footwear for 2 minutes and let the games begin. Initially, forming them into a pair of trail running shoes, these equally doubled into my work shoes as well.
It has been almost 2 months on these insoles used in a variety of circumstances and they have not shown any breakdown. The Polymicrobial® treatment certainly reduced foot funk while the ventilated softtec cushioning provided the perfect blend of padding without sacrificing poor aeration.
What else is there to say other than my next footbeds will be SOLE. I imagine this current pair will last quite a long time.
Function: High impact activities, mountaineering, hiking, serious trail running.
Additionally, I have recommended SOLE products with higher arch support and stiffer insoles for patients with plantar fascitis after comparing some of the non-customized orthotics on the market now.
Price: $50. Well worth comfortable feet when you are in the backcountry.
Additives:
Many adventure companies endeavor to help the planet by giving back. SOLE has done just that by joining forces with Ed Viesturs to encourage health and fitness for the youth of North America. $1.00 from the sale of each pair of Signature EV Ultra footbeds is donated directly to Big City Mountaineers. Big City Mountaineers mentors under-resourced urban teens through transformative outdoor experiences to enrich lives, broaden horizons and instill critical life skills. Based out of Denver, CO, this youth-focused outreach program takes kids into the backcountry to educate, motivate and provide role models for inspiring their future dreams. Strong work Big City Mountaineers and SOLE for supporting this!
