Dakota Terraces Campground Ridgeway State Park Biking, photo by Frank Campfield
The best mountain views are found here at sites 1-79.  Located in the Dutch Charlie area of the park, this campground is within walking distance of the reservoir and swim beach. All campsites here have RV electrical hookups and shared water.  The three yurts are found here.  The dump station is located at the entrance to the campground. This is the only area of the park with year-round RV camping.

Elk Ridge Campground
This is the most popular campground, located on the top of a mesa covered in Pinyon pine and juniper trees.  Offering campsites 80-187, it is also part of the Dutch Charlie area of the park. RV campsites have electric hookups and shared water and there are 10 walk-in tent sites. The dump station is located down the hill at the entrance to the Dakota Terraces Campground.

Pa-Co-Chu-Puk Campground
Campsites 200-295 are found at the Pa-Co-Chu-Puk Campground at the north end of the park with full hookup (electric, water and sewage service). Campsites 200-280 are located close to the Uncompahgre River; some of these have beautiful views of the river.  Tent campers can enjoy the 15 walk-in tent campsites, 281-295, located across the river in a secluded Ponderosa pine forest.
