Commando 30 Day Calendar from Wenger
The Wenger Commando 30 Day Calendar watch comes in a gorgeous silver metal box with black leather inside to showcase the manly stainless steel case. When first examining the watch, I found it to have a very classy and sophisticated look. It has a very impressive face and a beautiful stitched leather strap.
It didn't take me long to strap the watch on and examine it some more. At its finer points, the watch features luminous hands that allow you to tell time at night. What is useful and a plus to any watch is the Date Display. This watch not only displays the current date, but it also has a 31 Calendar Display around the face. The days of the week are etched around the outer ring of the watch and a movable date ring forms an inner ring. At a quick glance the watch will tell you that today is Wednesday the 22nd or that the 31st falls on a Friday. If you are out fishing or playing golf and are making plans for the next outing, a quick look at the watch will let everyone know what date next weekend is. You can quickly realize that you have an anniversary or a birthday coming up and you will not be able to hang out with your buddies that day.
One of the coolest things about the watch is a second time zone indicator. When I travel, I like to keep my watch to my home time zone. For short travels this will allow me to keep it that way. If I am going to be away for an extended period of time, then I can switch the time zones on the watch and will always know what time it is at home without having to make any calculations.
For anyone that needs to know the time and needs to know what day the 23rd falls, even under water, well you are in luck, because this watch is water resistant up to 330 feet. If this is your line of work or play, this watch won't let you down.
I have enjoyed sporting this watch at work where I normally wear a tie as well as casually. This is an all purpose watch with very dependable features you will come to appreciate with your active lifestyle.
