Breckenridge Ski Resort
Breckenridge Ski Resort is the largest historic district in the state of Colorado. The town and its residents are eager to offer something new and hip to visitors, from thriving nightlife to extreme mountain competitions at the colossal Breckenridge ski resort. The resort's 146 trails span through four interconnected mountains, making Breckenridge Summit County's largest ski area.
Sunlight Mountain Resort
Sunlight’s intimate, unpretentious atmosphere can be attributed to its small-town roots named after a once-thriving coal mining town in the area that disappeared in the early 1900s. With its summit situated on Compass Mountain, Sunlight offers beautiful vistas of majestic Mount Sopris and the surrounding Elk Mountain Range, as well as hundreds of acres of mild greens, intermediate slopes and black diamond extremes to satisfy all levels of abilities.
Steamboat Ski & Resort
The terrain at Steamboat is spread across 5 mountains; it is the 2nd largest ski area in Colorado. Long wide groomed trails and beginner only areas are complimented by steep mogul courses, double black diamond powder filled chutes and endless treed terrain. The lift system is fast and efficient.
Eldora Mountain Resort
Eldora is skiing, snowboarding, cross country and snowshoe friendly! Eldora opened for skiing in 1962 and boasts Colorado's best snowmaking system. Coverage is 100% of groomed terrain, more than any other resort in Colorado. The most difficult mountain to ski at Eldora is the Corona Bowl - a double black diamond.
Winter Park Resort
The skiing and snowboarding at Winter Park is spread across 5 connected mountain areas; the Winter Park area, the Vasquez Ridge area, and the Mary Jane area which is made up of 3 mountains; Mary Jane, Parsenn Bowl and Vasque Cirque. Each area provides its own unique terrain with fast groomed trails, powder filled bowls, tree
runs and steep and deep moguls.
Powderhorn Ski Resort
Powderhorn Resort is located in western Colorado on the side of the Grand Mesa, the world's largest flat-top mountain. With 510 acres of terrain and a vertical drop of 1,650 feet, Powderhorn offers slopes for beginners to experts. The 360,000 acres on top of the Grand Mesa is the site for miles of cross-country and some of the best snowmobiling in the world.
Monarch Mountain
Monarch Mountain, located in South Central Colorado, is what you expect from a real Colorado ski area. Abundant natural snow (350+ inches) and friendly people are two of our strongest attributes. You can walk from your car right to the lifts, prices are reasonable, and the runs flow naturally back to the base area. At Monarch you’ll lose the crowds but not your friends.
Cuchara Resort
Cuchara Mountain ski resort is located in south east Colorado. The terrain really does not focus on advanced skiing, but it does offer it. The ski runs at Cuchara are focused on beginner and intermediate terrain. The closest towns are La Veta and Walsenburg. There ski school is exceptional and they offer day care for half day or all day.
